The easiest way to tell if walls should be used for what you make is quite simply, "Does it look better?". The 2D Zelda games have a unique tileset design for this perspective, in that most walls are visible. This while fairly obvious has some major details to it. I will try to be as informative as possible and hopefully in the end you will be able to make Zelda ALTTP styled artwork for this game. This is a guide for you guys to follow to achieve said art-style. Because "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 2D" is following the graphic art-style of "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past", it is necessary that a simple rule-set on how the artwork would look be followed. One of the many details that make a good product when it comes to gaming, is the consistency of the artwork.
